Des premiers programmes imagin\u00e9s au dix neuvi\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, par Ada Lovelace pour la machine analytique, en passant par la machine de Turing et l\u2019architecture de Von Neumann, cette promenade dans la tour de Babel des langages de programmation est parsem\u00e9e d\u2019anecdotes savoureuses. Les paradigmes imp\u00e9ratif, fonctionnel et objet ou la diff\u00e9rence entre langage interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 ou compil\u00e9 sont abord\u00e9s \u00e0 travers des exemples.
